It’s Black Friday 2014. This the season for 4K Ultra HD TV deals. Best Buy has Samsung’s 55-inch UN55HU6830FXZA on sale today for $899.99 with free delivery. It’s not just a 4K Ultra HD TV, but it’s a Smart 4K Ultra HD TV, meaning it has all the streaming goodies like Netflix, Hulu+, Amazon Prime video and much more on board.
We’re not sure how long this will last (probably not long) as it’s by far the least expensive 55-inch 4K Ultra HD TV we’ve seen so far this holiday shopping season. The UN55HU6830 is no bare bones set, either. It’s got 4 HDMI inputs, Samsung’s SmartHub with built-in WiFi, and full Ultra HD (3840*2160) resolution. It’s a 60 Hz native panel but include’s Samsung’s Clear Motion 240 processing for the equivalent motion resolution of a 240 Hz TV.
Since 4K content is still a bit sparse, the UHD TV upconverts SD, HD and full HD content to make it looks its best on a panel that has four times the picture detail of a standard 1080p HDTV. Pricing is current and the item is in stock as of the posting time, but who knows how long this deal will last?
