Adobe has published a security advisory in response to a critical security issue in Adobe Flash Player. This vulnerability affects the flash player for Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, Solaris and Android, it also impacts authplay.dll component included in the Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader X. So the entire population of the internet are affected by this, So the warning was the vulnerability discovered may cause crashes and potentially permit hijacking of systems. This issue also affects the company’s Reader and Acrobat Software Products. The better news now is Adobe has found it’s being actively exploited ‘in the wild’ through a .swf file embedded in an Excel spreadsheet, but a fix hasn’t been found until the beginning of the next week.
