The AMD rolling out a new powerful and low end graphics cards. The AMD said that the Radeon R7 265 will offer 2GB of GDDR-5 memory on a 265-bit memory bus crowning the AMD R7 series, according to the company. The R7 265 brings twice the memory bandwidth of its predecessor. The R7 265 is built on the AMD Graphics Core Next technology, supports AMD PowerTune and will be able to run games that includes support for ADM’s low-level API.
The R7 260X which ADM claims translate into a 25 percent performance boost. It will be available later this month for $149. The result of introducing R7 265; the price of R7 260 has been reduced to $119. We saw AMD’s higher-end R9 graphics in several of the Steam Machines at CES, and we’ve been playing with a working iBuyPower prototype packing an R7 260x for awhile now. The 260x and 265 will prove awfully attractive options to manufacturers trying to hit the all-important sub-$500 price point needed to compete with other gaming consoles.
