Apple has started accepting preorders for iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus with a release date of September 25. Now, a recent report reveals that despite China’s economy and the fact that there are plenty of cheaper alternatives from Xiaomi and Huawei, Apple has already sold out both of its new iPhone model in China.
Reports claim that the rose gold iPhone option is the first to sell out. In fact, according to reports, Apple’s iPhones in China sold out in 12 hours. This has left new customers waiting 2-3 weeks for the smaller iPhone 6S, and 3-4 weeks for the larger iPhone 6S Plus.
While in the U.S, the preorders for the new iPhones are still relatively reasonable with the majority of the iPhone 6S still pegged for a September 25 release, and only the larger iPhone 6S Plus that could be facing delays of 3-4 weeks.
Earlier this month, Apple has placed huge orders for their new models expecting huge preorders. However, it seems even that might not have been enough. Because they are selling out so quickly, it is best to preorder your new iPhone as we expect that the shipping times will continue to slip as more orders pile in.
