ASUS PadFone X Mini phone is coming to U.S. on October 24th through AT&T and costs $200 to GoPhone’s prepaid customers. There is a lot of hardware here for money, although it won’t surprise you to hear ASUS makes sacrifices to give you two devices for the price of one.
The smartphone half is a bit better than the regular PadFone mini thanks to its larger 4.5-inch screen, but you’re still looking at a dual-core Atom processor, a 5MP rear camera, and a 2MP front shooter. Asus PadFone X mini features dual-core 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2560 CPU, a gig of RAM, 8GB of expandable memory, and 4.5 inch display with a resolution of 853*480 pixels. Android 4.4 KitKat with Asus ZenUI, and 2,060mAh battery are also among the highlights of the devices spec sheet.
You’re also docking into a 7-inch tablet ith a resolution of 1280*800 pixels. It packs its own 2,200mAh battery, which houses little more than a front camera and an extra battery, so don’t expect a night-and-day difference when you use the bigger screen.
