According to a recent report, AT&T will finally start selling Microsoft Lumia 640 and 640 XL in US by end of the month. It is expected that the unlocked version of Lumia 640 to be priced in a range of $100 to $150 while the unlocked Lumia 640 XL will have a $200 to $250 price tag.
The Lumia 640 is already available from Cricket, priced at $129.99. T-Mobile is expected to have the phone available on June 17. The handset comes with a 5-inch screen carrying a 720 x 1280 resolution at 294 PPI. It will feature quad-core 1.2 GHz CPU, Adreno 305 GPU, 1 GB of RAM, 2500 mAh battery, and 8 GB of internal storage with support for microSD card up to 128 GB. It will also have an 8-megapixel rear camera with a .9 MP front camera.
The Lumia 640 XL has the similar specs as Lumia 640 and features a larger 5.7-inch 720 x 1280 resolution screen with a pixel density of 259 PPI. The rear camera gets a bump to 13MP and the front-facing camera weighs in at 5MP. A larger 3000 mAh battery is under the hood.
