Some tech experts say iPad Air 2 is one of the best tablets in the market. But the Bendgate problem still continues; this time with iPad Air 2 just like iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
The iPad Air 2 also bends out of shape. But the ease with which it bends is a bit unexpected. Marvin Machts of Germany posted a YouTube video demonstrating that the new super-slim iPad Air 2 can be bent easily. He used his hands to bend the TouchID-enabled tablet. In just a few seconds, the device broke right in the middle. Its display buckled and small pieces began to fall off. Fortunately, the iPad Air 2 was still working, if you could read from a fully damaged screen.
Consumer Reports has said that any device with metal chassis would bend when applied certain pressure. That means you have to make a trade-off if you want a slimmer and lighter tablet.
But, youre probably not going to put your iPad Air 2 in your pocket or apply this much pressure under any normal circumstances, but the ease with which this thing can be bent is still at least a little bit unexpected.
