BlackBerry said it will match on iPad 2 in terms of pricing of its device PlayBook tablet, said New York Times. The base model of PlayBook is supposed to launch at $49.99 which is as same as iPad 2 16 GB Wi-Fi model. Apple is usually known for charging a premium for its products, hit the proverbial nail on the head when it comes to iPads price. None of the competitors havent come to their prices yet, Motorolas Xoom tablet costs $799 for 32GB 3G model while Apple Sells it for $729 on its 32 GB 3G model of iPad2. With the promise to launch the PlayBook as the same price of iPad2, BlackBerry has not only make the things difficult for iPad but for other tablets too. May the other tablet makers will reconsider their pricing now.
