Walkthrough

To finish the Borderlands 2 Cult Following: Eternal Flame optional mission, we need to travel to Frostburn Canyon, and our first objective there is to go and find a character named Incinerator Clayton.

The map waypoint is not far from us (Incinerator Camp), and there we find our guy who gives us the task of killing some enemies using a fire weapon and then collect 5 bandit ashes for him.

The problem is that most of the enemies around here are fire resistant, so its better if we weaken them using another type of elemental weapon and then switch to a fire weapon for the final blow.

Collecting the bandit ashes and returning them to Clayton completes the mission, and unlocks the next one, named Cult Following: False Idols. We also have the opportunity to choose from two rewards: a SMG (sub-machine gun) or a shield.
