We all know Apple and Steve Jobs don’t like when you use Bluetooth in iDevices for anything except connecting peripherals. So those who want to use their bluetooth for file transfer would either jailbreak or use applications like iBluenova. However Apple’s wrath is too big and they usually release patches for these “exploits”. The Celeste application brings the same functionality to jailbroken iPhones, iPads and iPod touch running iOS 4.3.
Those with jailbroken iDevices will now be able to transfer files over Bluetooth using the application. The tweak that Celeste employs is rumoured to be dependent on mobile substrate, which may prove rather difficult for Apple to patch out like the way it did for similar applications like iBluenova, which was patched out with the 4.0 update. Celeste app is paid and available in Cydia Store or JailBreak Store now.
Loves space, gadgets, comics and believes PC is superior to consoles.
