Duke Nukem Forever Release date confirmed to be May 3rd 2011

Hail to the king, baby. Duke’s coming back; Yes finally after years of delay, Duke Nukem Forever is back and going to be released on May 3rd 2011.

The president of 2K games announced the release on May3 2011, posted their release date on their official website too http://www.dukenukemforever.com/
You will be able to buy a copy on May 3 on North America and May 6th Internationally. The game is coming for versions of PC, XBOX, PS3.

Based on the 3D engine, the game looked fine. While many gamers are awaiting for the game date release, the release date is announced now and they have to wait up to May 3rd. Originally in development under 3D Realms, the game was first announced in April 1997, and promotional information for the game was released in one form or another from 1997 to 2008. After many controversies and roadblocks, on September 3, 2010, after 13 years, Duke Nukem Forever was officially reported by 2K Games to be in development at Gearbox Software. The guys at 2K games, who are involved in developing the game, are confident of making this game a big hit in the market. Now what they said in the interview is

Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K Games, confirmed the new by declaring, “May 3, 2011 marks Duke’s return as he unleashes his brash and brutally honest wit on the world. His return is going to be epic and one that will make video gaming history!” Randy Pitchford, president of Gearbox Software, is just as incredulous when he says, “When I said goodbye to 3D Realms and the original Duke Nukem 3D team in 1997 and soon after founded Gearbox Software, I never in my wildest dreams imagined that a day like today would come.”
