Fitbit Unveils Fitness Trackers And Super Watch

Fitbit unveiled a series of Fitness trackers including a super watch. The Fitbit has added three new devices to its line up; Fitibit Charge, Fitbit Charge HR, and Fitbit Surge.

The Fitbit Charge is the device said to reboot of Fitbit Force priced at $130 (accurately $129.95) launching in mid-November. Park said the company “took the Force issue very seriously” and “learned a lot from what happened.” “It resulted in enhancing already stringent protocols,” Park said. “We tested the product at independent labs to make sure it meets the standards.” Unlike FitBits previous wrist offerings, the Charge is also able to show call notifications on its petite OLED display over Bluetooth LE.

The Fitbit Charge will launch in two colors (black and slate) and will be available in burgundy and blue starting in 2015.

The Fitbit charge is as nearly as Fitbit Charge but got an additional heart rate monitor. Fitbit is calling its heart-rate tracking technology PurePulse and lets users get a read on their heart rate at all hours of the day, not only during workouts but even when resting or sleeping. The device is priced at $150 (accurately $149.95) and additional charge of $20 for continuous heart rate monitoring.

It will come in black and plum when it debuts in 2015, with other colors like blue and tangerine coming later on.

Fitbit Surge

The Fitbit Surge is called the super watch, very much closer to the fitness watches in the market got a rectangular OLED display; can take incoming calls and read text messages with the fitness features. This device was priced at $250 (accurately $249.95).

The Surge includes GPS, heart rate monitoring, and Bluetooth LE-based call and text notifications, and also supports different workout modes like runs, weight training, or elliptical use. Its bigger, so it gets a claimed seven days of battery life.

The products and the corresponding apps work with iOS, Android and Windows phones and come in small, large and x-large sizes.
