Google Apologize For Outage

Earlier today some Google services went down for users across the world including India, Canada, Europe, US, etc. Google has not immediately rectify the problem, but has quickly apologized through itsGoogle Plus account. Google, Gmail, Google Plus, Calendar and Documents were unable to access those services for 30 Minutes.

“For about 10 percent of users, the problem persisted for as much as 30 minutes longer.” Google did not disclose the full extent of Gmail technical problem. So the millions of people affected those using the service at work.

Google didn’t confirm any problems with Google+ or its other services, but Google+ failed to load anything but generates a “500” error for some users. Google Drive worked normally on one occasion, but failed to load file names and images on a subsequent refresh. YouTube appeared to operate normally.

The Google said, “The problem with Gmail should be resolved,” the company said. “We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and continued support. Please rest assured that system reliability is a top priority at Google, and we are making continuous improvements to make our systems better.”

Now, that the services are in place, Google has ensured that it will take steps to avoid such issues. In the Google+ post, it said we are putting more checks and monitors in place to ensure that this kind of problem doesnt happen again.
