Learn how to use contacts on your Huawei Ascend Mate. Forget about lugging around business card holders. With your phone, you can easily store and manage your contacts in your new phone.
Creating a contact

On the home screen, touch Contacts icon then the Contacts tab.

Touch Add Contacts icon .

Select an account you wish to use.

Enter the contact name, phone number, and more. Touch Add another field to enter more entries.

Touch DONE to save the contact.
Adding a contact to your favorites

On the home screen, touch Contact icon then the Favorites tab.

Touch Add Favorites icon .

Touch the contact you wish to add to favorites or touch Select all to select all contact.

Touch Add.
Deleting a contact

On the home screen, touch Contacts icon then the Contacts tab.

Touch Menu > Delete contact.

Touch the contact you wish to delete or touch Select all to select all contacts.

Touch Delete.

Touch OK.
Sharing a contact

On the home screen, touch Contacts icon then the Contacts tab.

Touch Menu > Share contacts.

Touch the contact you wish to share or touch Select all to select all contacts.

Touch Share and choose a sharing method from the displayed option menu.
Search Contacts

On the home screen, touch contacts icon then the Contacts tab.

Touch the search box.

Enter the contact name or initials.

Matching results are displayed as you type. For example, to search for John Doe, enter John Doe or J.D.
