Learn how to use configure weather app on your Huawei Ascend P6. Weather provides you with the latest weather information for any city around the world. You can share weather information with your family and friends.

Note: Before you use Weather, turn on your phone’s GPS and data service.

Adding a city

• Add cities of your concern to Weather to check their real-time weather information.

• On the home screen, touch Tools > Weather icon.

• Touch List > + icon.

Note: In addition to your current city, you can add up to nine cities.

• Enter a city name.

  Matching cities are then displayed.

• Select the city you want to add.

Setting the default city

• On the home screen, touch Tools > Weather icon.

• Touch List icon.

• Touch Home icon the icon next to the city you want to set as the default city.

Deleting cities

• On the home screen, touch Tools > Weather icon.

• Touch List > Delete icon.

• Select the cities you want to delete, and touch DELETE.

Updating weather

• On the home screen, touch Tools > Weather icon.

• Flick left or right to find the city whose weather you want to update.

• Touch Refresh icon to update the weather.

You can also set Weather to automatic update mode. Touch List > Menu, select Auto update, and set Update interval. Your phone will then update the weather at the interval you set.

Sharing weather information

• Your phone lets you send weather information as a text message to remind your family and friends of weather changes.

• On the home screen, touch Tools > Weather icon.

• Flick left or right to find the city whose weather you want to share.

• Touch Share icon to display the messaging screen.

• You can then:

• Enter a phone number.

• Touch Add contact icon to select a contact.
