How To Join Contacts – Huawei Ascend Mate

Learn how to join contacts on your Huawei Ascend Mate. Annoyed when you have multiple entries for the same contact from different accounts? Join these entries to better manage your contacts.

Note: Contacts stored in the SIM card cannot be joined or split.

Joining contacts

On the home screen, touch Contacts icon then the Contacts tab.
Select the main contact you want the other contacts to be joined to.
Touch Manage joined contacts > Add contact.
Select the contacts to be joined.After you join the contacts, they are all saved to the main contact.

Splitting contacts

Joined the wrong contacts by mistake? Not to worry, it’s not too late to reverse course.

On the home screen, touch Contacts icon then the Contacts tab.
Select the contact you wish to split.
Touch Manage joined contacts to display the Joined contacts screen.
Touch x to the right of the contact to split it.
