How To Setup Visual Voice Mail On Samsung Galaxy Note 4

Learn how to setup visual voice mail on your Samsung Galaxy Note 4. From home screen, tap apps icon and tap visual voice mail.

Set up Visual Voicemail (VVM)

To set up Visual Voicemail the first time, follow these steps:

  • Verify that Wi-Fi calling is turned off: Settings > More networks > Wifi calling.
  • From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon > Visual Voicemail.
  • If necessary, follow any additional prompts

Voicemail messages

To access Visual Voicemail and listen to new messages, follow these steps:

  • From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon > Visual Voicemail
  • Tap the desired message from the list.
  • Tap the Play icon.

Change password

To change the Visual Voicemail password, follow these steps:

  • From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon > Visual Voicemail
  • Tap the Menu icon > Setting > Change PIN.
  • Enter the current PIN.
  • Tap OK.
  • Enter the new PIN.
  • Enter the new PIN to confirm.
  • Tap OK.

Change greeting

To change the Visual Voicemail greeting, follow these steps:

  • From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon > Visual Voicemail > Setting > Greetings.
  • To change to an existing greeting:
    • Tap the existing greeting.
    • The bullet point fills with color.
  • To record a new greeting:
    • Tap Add new.
    • To delete an existing greeting (to make room for the new greeting):
      • Tap the greeting you wish to delete.
      • Tap Delete.
      • Tap Delete again to confirm.
  • Tap Record.
  • Record your new greeting.
  • Tap Stop recording when done.
  • To listen to the greeting, tap the Play icon.
  • If desired, change the greeting file name.
  • Tap Save.
  • To assign your new greeting as your current greeting:
    • Tap the greeting.
    • The bullet point fills with color

Turn off or Disable Visual Voicemail

To turn off or disable Visual Voicemail, follow these steps:

  • From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon > Visual Voicemail
  • Tap the Menu icon > Settings.
  • Tap the Visual Voicemail Switch to Off.
  • The Switch moves right and turns grey.
  • Tap OK.
