How To Use Display Settings - Huawei Ascend P7

Learn how to use display settings on your Huawei Ascend P7. You can adjust the screen brightness, wallpapers, auto rotate screen, sleep, day dream, font size, font style and more.

Adjusting the screen brightness

  • On the home screen, touch Settings icon.
  • Under All, touch Display.
  • Touch Brightness.
  • Drag the slider left or right to adjust the screen brightness.

Note: You can also flick down from the status bar to open the notification panel and adjust the screen brightness using the shortcut switch.

Modifying display settings

  • On the home screen, touch Settings icon.
  • Under All, touch Display.
  • On the Display screen, you can:
    • Touch Brightness to adjust the screen brightness.
    • Touch Color temperature to adjust the screen color temperature. To manually adjust the color temperature, clear the Default check box.
    • Touch Wallpaper to set the lock screen and home screen wallpapers.
    • Select or clear the Auto-rotate screen check box to enable or disable the screen auto-rotate function. If this function is enabled, your screen’s orientation will automatically change with the way you hold your phone when you perform certain operations, such as browsing a web page, viewing a picture, or writing a message.
    • Select or clear the Sunlight readable check box to enable or disable readability enhancement under sunlight. If this function is enabled, your phone will adjust the screen brightness based on the ambient light and help you read better in strong light.
    • Touch Sleep to set a screen timeout period. If idle for the specified period, your phone automatically locks its screen to save battery power.
    • Touch Daydream to enable or disable the screen saver. If this function is enabled, the screen saver will automatically run while your phone is being charged.
    • Touch Font size to change the display font size.
    • Touch Font style to change the display font style.
    • Touch Pulse notification light to enable or disable the blinking indicator when you receive notifications.

Changing the font size

  • On the home screen, touch Settings icon.
  • Under All, touch Display.
  • Touch Font size and select a font size.
