Learn how to use Gallery on your Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. Use Gallery to view, capture, and manage photos and videos.
Note: Photos and videos are stored in the /storage/emulated/ 0/DCIM/Camera folder, photos as jpg files and videos as mp4 files.
To access Gallery:
From a Home screen, touch Apps > Gallery icon.
Selecting Photos and Videos to View
Touch Gallery icon. All albums display.
Choose items to display by making selections from the menus in the Application bar: Albums, All, Time, Locations, People, Favorites, or Spiral.
Touch Albums and then touch New album icon to create a new album.
Touch Camera icon to launch the Camera app.
Touch Menu key to display the following options:
- Select album / Select item: Touch one or more albums or items that you want to share, share, or delete.
- Slideshow: View a slideshow of the available pictures and videos.
- Content to display: Indicate the sources of content to display.
- Scan for nearby devices: Discover and connect directly to nearby devices.

Accounts: Touch an account to display and manage its sync settings.
Tags: Touch Face tag to set whether to look for a face in pictures.
- Help: Display more information about Gallery.
Viewing Groups of Photos and Videos
Touch Gallery icon.
Touch a category and then a group to view it. Thumbnails for each photo and video in the group display.
Touch Camera icon to launch the Camera app.
Touch Menu key for these options:
- Select item: Touch one or more items that you want to share, delete, or use for a slideshow.
- Slideshow: View a slideshow of the available pictures and videos.

Accounts: Touch an account to display and manage its sync settings.
Tags: Touch Face tag to set whether to look for a face in pictures.
- Touch Back key to stop the slideshow.
Note
This guide will work on all Samsung Galaxy Tabs; including Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1.
