- Go to the Office Hub to create and edit Word documents and Excel workbooks, open and view PowerPoint slide shows, and share documents with SharePoint.
- You can also save your documents to Windows SkyDrive. SkyDriveis cloud storage that you can use to access your documents fromyour phone, tablet, computer, or Xbox. When you stop working on adocument, and go back to it later, youre in the same place where you left it no matter which device youre using.

Read Microsoft Office documents
In the Office Hub, you can view Microsoft Office documents, such as Word documents, Excel workbooks, or PowerPoint presentations.
- Tap Office icon.
- Swipe to places, and tap the location of the file you want to view.
- Tap a Word, Excel, or PowerPoint file.
Create a Word document
You can create new documents with Microsoft Word Mobile.
- Tap Office icon.
- Swipe to recent.
- Tap + icon.
- Tap a blank Word file or a template.
- Write your text.
- To save your document, tap . . . > save.
Edit a Word document
Polish your documents on the road with Microsoft Word Mobile. You can edit the documents and share your work on a SharePoint site.
- Tap Office icon, and swipe to places.
- Tap the location of the file.
- Tap the Word file you want to edit.
- To edit the text, tap Edit icon.
- To save your document, tap . . . > save.
Note: To access an important document quickly, you can pin it to the Start screen. Tap and hold the document, and tap pin to start.
Add a comment
- Tap Edit icon > Comment icon.
Search for text in a document
- Tap the Word file and Search button.
Send a document in an email
- Tap the Word file and . . . > share….
