There are lot of rumors surrounding the Huawei Nexus 6P smartphone and a recent rumor claims that the smartphone will come with a 128 GB onboard storage.
The largest storage the Google Nexus smartphones have offered so far is 64 GB, which was the last year’s Nexus 6. The jump to 128 GB will no doubt impress the folks who advocate for greater onboard storage in flagship devices.
The report came from Android Police which cites multiple trusted sources that the new Huawei Nexus smartphone will be available in three storage options: 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB.
With this amount of storage, it is unlikely for Huawei Nexus to have a microSD slot. However, considering the upcoming Android 6.0 Marshmallow has features focusing on expandable storage, it is not out of possibility. We can also expect a price difference of $50 to $100 at each increased storage level.
Google has sent out invitations for a press event on September 29 where it is likely going to show off the new Nexus handsets, we will get information on pricing and availability at the event.
