Sprint has announced that LG K3 is now available for purchase from both of its prepaid brands, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile.
The LG K3 is an entry-level Android smartphone, with a very basic hardware specification. The phone comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854×480) display, a 1.1GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor paired with 1GB of RAM. There is also a 5-megapixel rear camera with built-in Flash and Zoom, and a VGA front camera for video chat.
The device has decent 1940mAh battery to power the hardware. For storage you will get a 8GB on-board memory with an option to expand the storage through MicroSD cards up to 32GB.
LG K3 has the usual connectivity options including Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, Micro USB 2.0, and 3.5mm stereo output for head phones. The handset also supports Mobile Hotspot – meaning you can share your phone’s Internet connection with your tablet or PC via a Wi-Fi connection or USB (tethering).
The LG K3 also comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow pre-installed. The phone is now available from Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile for just $79.99.
