The upcoming collection from BioWare packages all three Mass Effect titles into one box. The Mass Effect Trilogy arrives November 6 on Xbox 360 and PC. The PlayStation 3 version is available on December 4 and includes the first Mass Effect title.
The EU date for those platforms has today been confirmed as November 9. And for PS3 gamers, the fun kicks off on December 4 in US and December 7 in Europe. The box-set, which in the US will cost $59.99, marks the first time Mass Effect 1 (released on Xbox 360 in 2007) will be released on Sony’s PlayStation system. BioWare has previously confirmed that Mass Effect 1 will get a standalone release on PS3 as a download title via the PlayStation Store, for those who already own its two sequels.
The new Mass Effect Trilogy trailer shows off each of the three games coming to PC and consoles as a package deal. No matter how you feel about the Mass Effect 3 ending, you have to admit: this trailer does a pretty good job at what it sets out to do: get players back into the games, and get some new players to hop aboard as well.
