Meizu Revealed MX4G And MX4G Mini

We have been hearing rumors that Meizu is planning a successor to its Meizu MX3 smartphone in the form of the Meizu MX4G that includes Mini, Uni and Pro variants. Meizu announced officially that the new devices are launching by end of this year 2014. Unfortunately for MEIZU fans, the CEO hasnt leaked any information about MX4G hardware, nor any other information when two handsets will go official.

Meizu MX4G features 5.5 inch WQHD display diagonally and the resolution pixels is 2560 x 1536. It may include Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor and 3GB or 4GB RAM. Meizu MX4G Mini includes 4.5 inches screen and the resolution pixels is 1280×768 to facilitate adaptation Flyme display width of 58.8mm and possible 4G LTE connectivity.

Expected Specifications For Meizu MX4G

  • CPU: Qualcomm Snapdragon with 805 processor

  • Screen: 5.5 inches 2056*1536 WQHD display

  • RAM: 3GB or 4 GB

Expected Specifications For Meizu MX4G Mini

  • CPU: Samsung Exynos 5 Hexa (Exynos 5260), 28nm process, two major core A15 1.7GHz + four A7 1.3GHz small core, this will be used on Note3 cheap version. GPU is the ARM Mali-T624.

  • RAM: 2GB dual-channel 933 MHz LPDDR3e

  • Screen: 4.5 inches 1280×768 (15:9 and MX3, MX4G Pro as) to facilitate adaptation Flyme display width of 58.8mm

  • Camera: with MX3 same 800W pixel camera and modules

  • Battery: 2000mAh

  • Dimensions: Width 64.5mm body is slightly narrower than the MX2, body thickness of 9mm

For those that dont know Meizu, the company is well known for delivering their own devices, with well designed hardware and impressive software, named Flyme OS, a variant of Android. Unlike most OEM skinning options, Meizu knows how to get it right on both fronts, making them one of the most popular Chinese manufacturers.
