Verizon accidentally tweeted the image of unannounced Motorola Droid Turbo in red color and deleted it. Motorola recently launched its highly anticipated watch Moto 360 Smart watch.
The Smartwatch stands out because of the regular displays found on most of the recent Smart watches. Motorola is also preparing to announce a new partnership with its former owner, Google, with the upcoming 5.9-inch Android L phablet. The smartphone has seen multiple leaks, and benchmarks for the handset show it will have very similar specs to the upcoming Verizon Droid Turbo.
The Verizon Droid Turbo official user manual leaked already and it provided some details on the smartphone, includes an image of front shot of device and lot of information about its new features and internals.
The image in Verizon’s accidental tweet shows an ultrathin smartphone with Moto X styling, with a possible similar aluminium frame. The rear of the smartphone appears to be using the Droid’s signature carbon fiber rear case and it also shows off its 21MP rear camera with dual LED flash.
The Verizon Droid Turbo will feature a 5.2-inch ultrasharp 2560 x 1440 Quad HD display and it will run a vanilla version of Android 4.4.4 KitKat (meaning hardly any customizations). It’s powered by a very fast 2.65-GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, Adreno 420 GPU (graphics processing unit), and has 3 GB of RAM. It got a 21MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and front-facing camera for selfies and video chat. The smartphone will support wireless charging out of the box and it will feature a very large 3,900 mAh battery.
The official announcement of the Verizon Motorola Droid Turbo is expected soon.
