Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 will be available for preorder on April 21 and will cost $249 online. The retail price of the phone will be little higher and costs $279. The phone will feature a 5.5 inch full HD with Technicolor color enhance display, Dual front-facing JBL Audio speakers, 13 MP rear camera, 8 MP front camera and an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz. It will have 16 GB on-board storage and 2 GB RAM. The OneTouch Idol 3 will have 2910mAh battery and runs Android 5.0.2 Lollipop.
It is the first globally released flagship from Alcatel OneTouch, and the company says it will work with every GSM network in the US, including T-Mobile and AT&T. OneTouch Idol3 comes in two variants, one with 5.5-inch screen and a cheaper version with 4.7-inch screen. Currently, Alcatel has not yet announced pricing or availability of the 4.7-inch model.
