A week ago, SamMobile has reported another rumor that claims that the Galaxy Note 6 will feature a USB Type-C port, reversible connector and all. While we are sure on whether Samsung will use USB 3.1 or an older standard, we can hope that the company will go with USB 3.1. The USB 3.1 supports USB Power Delivery 2.0 for faster device charging and the ability to carry HDMI or Display Port video signals.
In addition, other rumors point that Samsung may also launch a second generation Gear VR that uses USB Type-C connector to go along with Note 6 as the current version of the Gear VR comes with a microUSB port.
We are sure that we will see more leaks, rumors, and speculation as we get near the launch of Samsung’s latest phablet phone.
