Xiaomi is reportedly working on a new flagship device dubbed as the Xiaomi Mi5. A recent leak reveals what is to be specification belonging to Xiaomi’s next flagship phone.
As per the new leaked information, the Mi5 handset will come with a 5.3-inch Quad HD display (2560Ã1440) with a pixel density of 554 ppi. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor clocked at 2.2 GHz & 1.8 GHz (for high & low performance tasks, respectively) with the Adreno 530 GPU and 4 GB of RAM. The handset is also expected to boast 16 GB/64 GB of non-expandable storage, a USB-Type C connector, a 16 MP camera with dual-LED flash for photos and videos and a massive 3,030-mAh battery. The smartphone also alleged to have a fingerprint scanner on-board along with the usual Bluetooth, LTE, and dual-band Wi-Fi.
Xiaomi’s Mi5 will reportedly come with Android 5.1 Lollipop with MIUI 7 running on top of it. The handset is expected to carry a price tag under $400, which is quite good for a handset with such specifications. While it all sounds great, we need to take this with a grain of salt since the model is unannounced. We are also looking forward to hearing about the larger-screened Xiaomi Mi5 Plus, which could feature a 5.7-inch screen with 24 MP rear camera and a 13 MP front camera.
We will update you if we get to hear anything more about the handset.
