Samsung is going to be adding to its Android tablet lineup in the current year, with a leak indicating four slates will be coming out of Sammy’s camp. A sequel to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 could be the Galaxy Tab AS (small) SM-T350/351. And the Galaxy Tab AL (large) SM-T550/551 could be the follow-up to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. The first model number for each tablet listed is the Wi-Fi only version, with the second number indicating the cellular variant of the tablet.
The Galaxy Tab AS Plus SM-P350/351 is probably a 7-inch or 8-inch mid-range slate belonging to the Samsung Galaxy Note tablet range. The Galaxy Tab AL Plus SM-P550/551 is believed to be a 10 to 12-inch mid-ranger belonging to the same line. We can come to that conclusion considering that the current Samsung Galaxy Note and Samsung Galaxy Note Pro tablets are wearing SM-600 and SM-900 model numbers. Again, the first model number (like the SM-P550) is the Wi-Fi only version while the second number (SM-P551) is the cellular version of the slate.
The new tablets are expected to launch in the second or fourth quarter of the year with Android 5.0 inside.
