Last month, Verizon launched Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) for prepaid customers. Now, Samsung Galaxy J3 V is now available from Verizon online on device payment plan starting today.
There are not many difference between both devices except the storage. The Galaxy J3 V comes with 16 GB internal storage, while the prepaid version has only 8GB.
The Galaxy J3 V features a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, a 1.2Ghz quad-core processor. The handset has 16GB internal storage with option to expand it through MicroSD card for up to 128GB. For camera, we have a 5-megapixel – wide f/2.2 aperture rear camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front camera for selfies and video chat.
The device runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and a 2,600-mAh battery powers the device.

The handset cost $168 at full retail. However, Verizon is offering the Galaxy J3 V on its device payment plan for $7 per month for 24 months. You can also opt for $39.99 with a conventional two-year service contract.
The Galaxy J3 V is available from Verizon online starting today. It will also be available from the carrier’s stores starting June 23.
