Samsung announced the Galaxy K Zoom as a camera phone like its predecessor Galaxy K series; our sources just confirmed that Samsung will be selling the new Galaxy K Zoom in its Canadian Corporate stores unlocked; compatibility for any carriers.
The Galaxy K Zoom model numbered; SM-C115W in support page of Canada lists: Band 4 AWS, Band 7 2600MHz and Band 17 700MHz. Still no pricing was announced; but in Germany it was priced about $650.
It features a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display with 1280*720 resolution with 306ppi. It got an Exynos Hexa-Core processor clocked at 1.3GHz and a dual-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz. It features a 2GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage with micro SD card slot expendable up to 64GB.
It comes with Wi-Fi: 802.11 a/b/g/n 2.4+5GHz, HT40, Bluetooth 4.0 BLE, USB 2.0, NFC, A-GPS + and GLONASS. It weighs in at 200 grams, and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat. A 2430mAh battery powers the K Zoom.
The main excitement is the camera area the main camera is 20.7 megapixels with a 1/2.3 BSI CMOS Sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), 10x Optical Zoom, 24-240mm, F3.1-6.3 and Auto-Focus Assist LED. It features: Auto, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600, 3200, Continuous Shot: 3fps MAX with AF, Format: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WBMP, BMP, AGIF, Xenon Flash, SMART Mode, Expert Mode(P/M), My Mode. The front-facing camera (FFC) is 2.0MP.
