Samsung Galaxy Note 4 And Gear S Launched In India

Samsung launched the most anticipated smartphone Galaxy Note 4 and smartwatch Gear S in India. The Galaxy Note 4 will be priced at Rs.58,300 and the Gear S will cost you Rs.29,000 in India. The Galaxy Note 4 will be available from October 17th.

It remains to be seen if the flagship phone will find favour with buyers this festival season. Both devices have higher MRPs, Rs 61,500 (but will sell at Rs.58,300 according to online sources) for the Galaxy Note 4 and Rs 29,500 for the Gear S.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 features a 5.7-inch with 2560*1440 resolution, with Quad HD Super AMOLED display, advanced technology for front and rear cameras, battery life enhancements and improved S Pen functionalities. Some other features include a 16MP camera on rear with Optical image stabilizer technology; a 3.7-MP front camera, 32GB storage space, 3GB RAM, screen protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The Galaxy Note 4 also has a metal frame, which should make it more durable than its plastic-bodied Galaxy Note 3.

Samsung Gear S

The Gear S, meanwhile, takes the smart watch story to the next level by adding a curved Super AMOLED screen that wraps around the users wrist. It also has a SIM slot that, which means it can be used independent of at Galaxy device like in the earlier versions. The Gear S is based on Samsungs new Tizen operating system. It too comes with Swarovski straps.

Samsung has also launched a rewards scheme for users with a My Samsung Rewards app. Samsung has 180 million Galaxy users in India who will benefit from the scheme which has 60 member brands.

Samsung has not launched the Galaxy Note Edge and Gear VR in India. But they announced that the Galaxy Note Edge will be available later; as we already told that the smartphone is a limited edition model; but users in India can have hands on it.
