Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Arrives On Oct 17 In U.S

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 pre-order begins already and will arrive on October 17th. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 pre-orders for AT&T and Verizon started Friday, the same day Apple’s new iPhones hit stores. Samsung stores around UK opened up pre-orders, with retailers such as Three and Carphone Warehouse following suit, September 26. The handset will go on general sale on October 10th on UK.

Unveiled earlier this month, the Galaxy Note 4 features a 5.7-inch with 2560*1440 resolution, with Quad HD Super AMOLED display, advanced technology for front and rear cameras, battery life enhancements and improved S Pen functionalities.

It comes in black and white and will be available from the four major U.S. carriers AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verzion plus U.S. Cellular. The T-Mobile says it will be available for $0 down with 24 monthly payments of $31.24 per month. That’s just shy of $750 ($749.76), which matches my expectations regarding the off-contract price. On U.K, an earlier leak from retailer Clove suggested the handset will weigh in at 575.

“Samsung created the large screen smartphone category with the Galaxy Note and are on our fourth generation, a category others are just entering,” Samsung Telecommunications America President and CEO Gregory Lee said in a statement, obviously alluding to Apple. “The Galaxy Note 4 delivers a refined Note experience, and the latest technology that consumers want in their smartphone.”

Some other features include a 16MP camera on rear with Optical image stabilizer technology; a 3.7-MP front camera, 32GB storage space, 3GB RAM, screen protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The Note 4 also has a metal frame, which should make it more durable than its plastic-bodied Note 3.
