Sony Philippines has tweeted that Sony Xperia Z Android Lollipop update will come sometime next week.
Sony has been updating its Sony Xperia Z series smartphones with Android Lollipop for some time. Yesterday, Sony Philippines posted on Twitter that the Xperia Z Lollipop update “will start rolling out by next week”. The first-gen Xperia Z is a two years old smartphone and it is good to seen that Sony is still planning to support it.

Last week, XDA forum user, who has inside source within Sony posted that the “actual release date is closer to end of NEXT week”. So whether this week or next, it is looking like initial Xperia Z Lollipop update distribution is nearly ready to get started. And when it does launch we will give you a heads-up.
