The latest version of the Galaxy Note tablet isn’t impressing you, thanks to that overly large 12.2-inch screen. If you’d like a deal on something very similar but a little more manageable, B&H Photo has the 32GB version of the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition for $329.
That’s a whopping $270 off of the price of the 32GB model at launch last year, and still $170 off of Amazon’s current price. The Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition uses an impressive 2560*1600 screen, an Exynos 5420 quad-core processor running at 2.3Ghz, a full 3GB of RAM, an 8MP rear shooter, an 8220mAh battery, and Samsung’s standard MicroSD card. (This 32GB model is an upgrade on the 16GB base.)
The later models in the Galaxy Note/Tab PRO series run on very similar hardware with slightly faster processors – the biggest changes are to the device’s styling and Samsung’s TouchWiz overlay. Like all members of the Note family, this tablet includes a Wacom digitizer over the screen and an S-Pen stylus with a storage bay in the tablet’s body. It has been updated to KitKat, but a Lollipop upgrade is up in the air at the moment.
The B&H deal is limited – you’ve got until midnight Eastern or 9 PM Pacific time to get an order in. Only the white model is on sale. The store is offering free shipping, and since B&H is based in New York, you can probably skip sales tax if you live outside of New York or New Jersey.
