If the thought of short battery life has turned you down from smartwatch, then it is time for you to take another look at the smartwatch by Vector, the company that swooped onto the smartwatch scene out of nowhere this week.
At Baselworld show in Switzerland, Vector announced it’s working on a new family of smartwatches that has about 10 time more battery life thanApple Watch in standby mode. Apple Watch is said to have a battery life of 3 day in standby mode and preorder starts on April 10. This means Vector Smartwatch will have roughly 30 day standby time.
Vector smartwatches follows a minimalist design and has no touchscreen, monochromatic digital display that can be controlled by the three physical buttons on the right side.
The design is too simplistic and there is no information about what kind of functionality to expect. But considering the long battery life, one can be sure it will have very basic features.
Vector smartwatches won’t be available until summer. Until the we can only speculate whether a smartwatch from an unknown brand can keep up with the like of Apple and Google.
