Yesterday, Vodafone become the first UK carrier to confirm the launch of the brand new HTC Sensation. This was soon followed by Orange, T-Mobile and Three who unveiled that they would also offer HTC Sensation in the UK.
According to Pocket-link, Orange and T-Mobile will soon start selling HTC Sensation, in June, without giving a specific date. While Three was even vaguer and only mention that it will offer the new Android 2.3 smartphone “this summer”.
HTC Sensation is an Android powered device running Android 2.3 sporting 4.3 multi-touch display, 1.2 GHz processor, 768 MB RAM, 1 GB internal storage, SD card expansion slot, 8 megapixel camera with auto focus and dual LED flash, 1080p HD video recording, 3.5 mm stereo audio jack, micro-USB 2.0 (5-pin) port with mobile high-definition video link (MHL) for USB or HDMI connection, Bluetooth 3.0 and a battery capacity of 1520 mAh. It also comes with default configuration of Gyro sensor, G-Sensor, Digital compass, Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, 3G, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi and VGA fixed focus camera at the front for video calls, and chat.
So, if you want to buy the HTC Sensation in the UK in May, Vodafone will likely be the only place to get it from. It will also be released by T-Mobile USA, under the name of HTC Sensation 4G.
