Xperia Photo Academy Adds New Tutorial Today

Sony will be adding a new tutorial that will help you improve the pictures that you take using your smartphone. The new lesson will be all about taking great photographs in low-light conditions.

Currently available to read at the Xperia Photo Academy are tutorials about using contrast to improve your photos, and how to use perspective to take compelling photographs. Those who visit the academy to read the newly unlocked lesson on low-light photography today, will be eligible to win a top prize.

The three photographers whose advice you will find at the Academy, Greg Funnell, Ben Thomas, J.N. Silva, all used the rear shooter on the Sony Xperia Z3 to help illustrate their points. That camera features a 20.7MP sensor with an aperture of f/2.0. That allows the camera to take great shots even under low-light conditions. One thing that is missing from the rear camera on the Xperia Z3 is OIS.

If you want to learn how to take better shots when lighting conditions are not optimal, check out the Xperia Photo Academy today.
