Google has started pushing out an update to the Android YouTube app. Version 6.0.11 brings the new Material Design, which so far has had positive feedback from users of the streaming video site.
The update adds that Lollipop look that is a mainstay of Material Design. It also adds some additional filters to make it easier for you to find that specific video you want to view.
Keep in mind that the update has just started getting pushed out, and might not have hit everyone yet. If you feel comfortable sideloading the app, you can find the APK by clicking on the sourcelink.
