A few screenshots have leaked of an unreleased version of HTC Sense running on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
What’s particularly noteworthy here is the redesigned notification tray and Lollipop-style multitasking view. These screens are from Sense 6.0 running on the HTC One M8. We already know the Taiwanese company will bring it the latest Android version by early February, yet if you’ve been wondering what that would look like, then this is for you. Today a well-known leaker of HTC-related things has come up with screenshots which show Android 5.0 Lollipop running on an HTC One (M8), with Sense 6 on top.
As you can see, the new Lollipop lock screen has been incorporated by HTC into its software, and it hasn’t been radically changed. The Recents view is almost stock Android-like, while the Notification area and the Quick Settings are, in terms of design, a fusion between the language seen in Google’s Lollipop and previous Sense iterations.
If nothing else, these screenshots show that HTC is hard at work on the Lollipop update for its flagship smartphone, so hopefully the company will have it ready when it promised within 90 days from receiving the final code from Google, which means by February 2, 2015.
