Microsoft is expected to release the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL smartphones at the Windows 10 Hardware event on October 6. Â We have heard various specifications on the Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL and now it looks like we have some pricing details for the two handsets.
A European reseller has prematurely listed the two smartphones along with their respective price. If this is a genuine leak, and not a faked one from a retailer that wants to get some attention ahead of Microsoft’s big Windows 10 event scheduled October 6th, then according to the reseller’s website the Microsoft Lumia 950 will cost â¬649 and the Lumia 950 XL will carry a price tag of â¬749.
They definitely make sense, knowing all that we know about the high-end Lumia phones, although they are not exactly on-par with iPhone 6s and 6s Plus tariffs. Apple will likely charge â¬749 and â¬849 respectively for the 3D Touch-capable iPhone 6S and 6S Plus in markets such as Spain, where VAT sits at a hefty 21 percent, while the 950 and 950 XL are apparently valued at precisely â¬100 less.
There is no image, not even a placeholder, or the slightest mention of specs for Microsoft Lumia 950 or 950 XL specs on the European website. So perhaps, the price tags could be based on other flagship smartphones in the market or could come from a very reliable inside source.
The Lumia 950 is rumored to feature a 5.2-inch Full HD – 1920×1080 resolution display, the handset will come with a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor. It will also feature a 5-megapixel front camera and a 20-megapixel rear camera; it will also feature a 3000 mAh battery.
The Lumia 950 XL will come with 5.7-inch QHD 2560 x 1440 display and will be powered by an octa core Snapdragon 810 processor with 3 GB RAM. The device will also feature a 5-megapixel front facing camera and a 20-megapixel rear camera, plus a 3300m mAh battery.
There are rumors that claims that Microsoft will bundle $100 – $200 worth of accessories for free with the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL smartphones.
Both of these new Windows Phone smartphones from Microsoft will come with the latest version of their mobile OS, Windows 10 Phone, we will have more details on the devices next month.
Update: The reseller has removed the listing for the two Lumia smartphones.
