Samsung Moves Up Galaxy Note 4 Release Date In 140 Countries

Samsung Moves Up Galaxy Note 4 Release Date, 140 Countries In Oct

Samsung moves up the release date of the new phablet Galaxy Note 4 in most of the countries from what they have planned. Samsung announced today the latest addition to its hit phablet line, the Galaxy Note 4, will go on sale in Korea on Friday 26 September.

The Galaxy Note 4 will also be available in 140 other markets by the end of October, and while it hasn’t specified dates or locations, last week Samsung announced that the handset will go on sale in the UK on Friday 10 October and US in Oct 17.

Samsung’s Note 4 sales launch follows Apple boasting earlier this week that it had sold 10 million of its newest iPhones over the first weekend they were available. The Korea Times has reported that sources within Samsung claim the company aims to ship 15 million Note 4 devices within the first 30 days. A Samsung rep told the Korea Times that “positive reaction from consumers to those two Apple devices prompted us to launch the Note 4 earlier than previously scheduled.”

Samsung will also launch the Galaxy Note 4 in China this month, meaning Samsung’s phablet will arrive there before the iPhone 6 Plus. A Samsung spokesman could not immediately confirm that, though. We already reported on and off contract pricing of Galaxy Note 4.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 features a 5.7-inch with 2560*1440 resolution, with Quad HD Super AMOLED display, advanced technology for front and rear cameras, battery life enhancements and improved S Pen functionalities. Some other features include a 16MP camera on rear with Optical image stabilizer technology; a 3.7-MP front camera, 32GB storage space, 3GB RAM, screen protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The Galaxy Note 4 also has a metal frame, which should make it more durable than its plastic-bodied Galaxy Note 3.
